Who can I help?

Helping babies with global developmental delays

I can help…

  • Premature babies and infants who spent time in the NICU
  • Babies with hypotonia, spasticity, torticollis, or flat heads
  • Children with neurological conditions such as cerebral palsy, Down syndrome, or rare genetic disorders
  • Children with global developmental delays or with challenges including lack of head control, difficulty rolling, inability to sit up, or unusual movement patterns
  • Babies and toddlers recovering from meningitis or brain injuries (stroke, PVL, IHP, or HIE)
  • “Not yet ready” first schoolers (ages 4 to 7) struggling with coordination, focus, task management or balance
  • Organisations who support children with developmental issues and physical disabilities

Parents & Carers

Very Special Children offers parental support groups, small group movement programmes for babies and preschool age children with motor delays, therapy blocks and home support /bespoke therapy strategies.

It is my priority to give the best possible treatment/intervention program for the children AND support parents so they can learn to understand their children’s specific needs.

Organisations

I collaborate and co-work with organisations (educational and non-profit and independent) by sharing knowledge and practical experiences to enhance the work/provision of the specific needs of the setting.

We work with:
Charities
SEN Settings
Inclusive schools
Children / Development Centres

All training is designed and delivered to meet the organisation’s requirements and includes theory and practice on the chosen topic with elements of experiential learning.
